Leblanc Normandy 4 Wood Bb Clarinet - Item# CL701 SOLD

This Normandy 4 Wood Bb Clarinet is in beautiful shape and is very easy to play from top to bottom with a rich, warm tone (serial #67450). We have stripped it to clean and oil all the wood, polish the keys & repad as necessary.

In play-testing, we found every note to play well from the lowest to the altissimo range and we highly recommend this instrument for the student looking to move to the beauty of a wood clarinet. Details:

The body is in really nice used condition with no cracks
There is one tiny chip in the bottom of the upper joint. This is superficial and does not affect the integrity of the wood in any way.
The keys are beautifully polished and showing minimal wear to the finish
All tenon cork is in good used condition and all the parts fit together with no wobble
13 new pads; all others are in good used condition; all are seated and seal well. Please note that during transport and shipping of a clarinet, due to atmospheric changes and other conditions not under our control, shrinkage and loosening of pads may occur. It is not common but it can occur
The spring tension is good throughout and all rings are tight
The tone holes are clean
Comes with a Woodwind G8 Educator mouthpiece in good used condition, with ligature, metal cap, and new mouthpiece cushion included
Comes in its original case in good used condition inside and out
Includes a new polishing cloth and 8 new 2.5 Rico reeds.
