This Normandy 4 Wood Bb Clarinet is in beautiful shape and produces a warm tone throughout its range (serial #78665). It's been completely repadded, cleaned, oiled it (all wood, keys, screws and springs), and made adjustments where necessary to maximize the life and sound of the clarinet.

In play-testing, we found every note to play well from the lowest to the altissimo range and we highly recommend this instrument for the student looking to move to the beauty of a wood clarinet. Details:

The body is in really nice used condition with no cracks
There are some tiny chips in the upper tenon of the lower joint (not uncommon for a used clarinet). This poses no problem to its playability and the parts fit together well
The keys are beautifully polished, cleaned and oiled and in very good playing condition
New tenon cork on top-tenon of the upper joint; other tenon corks are in good used condition and all the parts fit together with no wobble
Total repad: all are seated and seal well. Please note that during transport and shipping of a clarinet, due to atmospheric changes and other conditions not under our control, shrinkage and loosening of pads may occur. It is not common but it can occur
The spring tension is good throughout and all rings are tight
The tone holes are clean
Comes with a Claude Humber DALLAS HAND FACED mouthpiece in very good used condition, with Bonade ligature and metal cap included
Also comes with a brand new case
