Leblanc Normandy 4 Wood Bb Clarinet - Item# CL603 SOLD

This Normandy 4 Wood Bb Clarinet is in very good used condition and has rich, warm tone (serial #99775). We have completely stripped, cleaned, and oiled it (all wood, keys, screws and springs), making adjustments where necessary (see details below).

In play-testing, we found every note to play well from the lowest to the altissimo range and we highly recommend this instrument for the student looking to step up to a solid sounding wood clarinet.

Other details:

The body is in good used condition with no cracks
There are minor chips in lower joint bottom tenon, however the joint still fits snugly with no wobble or leak. There are minor chips around around tone holes, but these do not effect this clarinet's playability or sound.
The keys have a nice polish and are in good playing condition. There is a small section on the lower joint where the keys show wear.
All tenon cork is in good used condition and all the parts fit together with no wobble
13 new pads; the other four are in good used condition and all are properly seated and seal well. Please note that during transport and shipping of a clarinet, due to atmospheric changes and other conditions not under our control, shrinkage and loosening of pads may occur. It is not common but it can occur
The spring tension is good throughout and all rings are tight
The tone holes are clean
The mouthpiece in very good used condition. Ligature and cap included
